Teaching Children About Praying

Today in primary, the primary president was talking about prayer. It went something like this:

PP: When you pray you fold your arms and bow your head. Can the floor hear what you’re saying?

Choir of children: No!

PP: Can other people in the room hear you pray:

CC: Yes!

PP: Can God hear you pray?

CC: Yes!

PP: Even though you can’t see him? If you look up can you see God?

CC: No!

One child, loud enough to be heard over the rest: Yes!

So evidently we have one child who can see God when he prays. He’s just holier than the rest of us.

Later…

PP: How does God answer prayers?

Pill Child: He appears in your room.

PP: Does He do that often?

Pill Child: No!
