On Toilets

Well, our toilet broke again. This time it was at least unrelated to our last two plumbing mishaps. The little lever connecting the external flushing thingy to the actual flushing mechanism inside the tank snapped off yesterday. I’m not sure how and I’m not sure I want to know how. On the bright side, we can still use and flush it, we just have to keep the tank open and flush it from there.

At this rate before we move out we’re going to have an entirely new toilet comprised of separately purchased parts.

Kyle has promised to show off his handy skills by purchasing and repairing the broken part all on his own. He also replaced the air filter in our car this week. I’m quite pleased with his new handyman bent, and look forward to seeing it put to good use in the future.
