This year is a first for me. It’s the first year that Kyle and I are doing Christmas on our own, which means that it’s the first year that we’re planning and executing meals and presents.
We’re on a tight budget this year, so I didn’t think there’d be many presents under our tree. It turns out that I forgot that we get gifts from family, and so our tree is sufficiently populated. Although, it seems to be turning into agony for Kyle because he’s not good at waiting for Christmas to come. Every hour or so he asks if we can just open the presents right now. I ask him “Do you not want presents on Christmas?”
“We can play with them on Christmas!”
“No. Presents on Christmas.”
